A Gorgeous Early Morning Maternity Session: Enid + Kevin

The two had been dating for a little over a year when they planned a trip to Colorado. They spent the majority of their vacation enjoying nature, the mountains, and all Breckenridge had to offer. On one of days, Kevin drove up to Sapphire Point and the two climbed up to the outlook. Enid remembers it like it was yesterday– the view being majestic– sunny, blue skies and crystal blue waters way down below with sailboats sailing in the distance. It was then at the outlook that Kevin dropped to his knee, and asked Enid to be his wife.

After saying “yes” and returning home from an amazing trip, they never set a date to get married. Instead, their focus and attention went to their new home they were in the middle of renovating. Months later, Enid, her mother and close friend wandered into a bridal boutique. She fell in love with a dress and decided to buy it even though a wedding still had not been planned. After coming home that night, Enid and Kevin decided to plan the perfect wedding for themselves and guests. Something rare and unforgettable is exactly what they wanted.

They planned a secret, backyard wedding last Labor Day at their newly renovated home. When guests arrived for an expected house warming, backyard BBQ, they were seated and welcomed to Kevin and Enid’s Wedding. The emotions of joy and surprise were captured as the two said their vows, and later told all the guests about the second surprise– a sweet baby girl was on the way.

A few short months ago, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Enid and her husband, Kevin.  I couldn’t have been more honored to capture this sweet maternity session before the two welcomed their beautiful daughter into the world.  I hope you enjoy some of my favorites… XO

This early morning light was simply beautiful on this gorgeous mama-to-be…

Oh, how I love meaningful, hand-made gifts from loved ones…

Enid was a few short weeks from her due date when we took these, and could not have been more beautiful!
