From the moment I met her, I knew I liked her. A few years back and later in the afternoon, Tanya was one of the last potential renters to meet us at our townhouse in Lake in the Hills. She was sweet and kind, and leaned in to give me the most genuine hug. As many of you know, Peter and I moved from the suburbs to the city about 4 years ago, and that left behind a town home we would need to rent. Tanya became our [dream] renter, and stayed for two years.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago when I was scrolling through my Instagram. I saw a picture of two beautiful people, a sparkly ROCK, and the caption below read… “Rumor has it. We’re ENGAGED!!!!” I was so happy to read the news, but so incredibly honored when she contacted me to photograph her Wedding. Tanya had a met great guy, whom became her best friend, and now future husband. They fell in love, bought a beautiful home, and will be getting married in less than a week to their soul mates.
Tanya + Eric, you two are the best and I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to take pictures on your Wedding Day! To fall in love, get engaged, and decide you just want to married as soon as possible…is so special. To not care about the rain during your Engagement session, and laugh about it saying marriage will have both sunny and rainy days… is amazing. I can’t wait for the rest of your lives to start on Saturday! Xo, Annie
Tanya once lived in Chicago, so we met at one of her favorite spots in the city… North Avenue Beach!
Tanya and Eric are both beautiful people (inside and out) which makes photographing them a dream…
A little rain… a whole lot of love!
We were the only 3 people at North Avenue Beach, which made this popular place in the city even better!
Tanya has great taste in many things. For example, her clear umbrella (I have the same one;)
Save the Date…
Happy Tuesday, friends!
