A Romantic Rockford Wedding: Kara + Aaron

The day Aaron proposed to Kara was pretty close to perfection.  They had been dating for a couple years and decided to take their beloved dog on a walk along Lake Michigan, close to where they lived in Lakeview.  After walking, they sat by the Lake and just enjoyed each other’s company on a warm, Spring afternoon.  A couple of minutes had passed by when Aaron dropped to one knee beside Kara.  He asked her to spend the rest of her life with him.  With tears in her eyes, she kept asking him if he was serious.  She of course said, Yes, and he then gave her the most beautiful engagement ring.  Afterwards, they called friends and family to share their exciting news.  When they got home later that afternoon, Aaron had Wedding books waiting for his bride-to-be to start planning their Wedding Day.  They celebrated with a bottle of bubbly, Chinese take out and Kara’s favorite movie– Father of the Bride.

I remember cheering with Kara back in the ol’ high school days and she was always smiling and one of the sweetest people I knew.  Years later, she still is still that beautiful smiling girl, but with her soul mate by her side.  Kara and Aaron, what an honor it was to capture your gorgeous Wedding Day and the love you have for one another.  You are two of the kindest people, and know how bright your future will be because of that.  Happy One Month Anniversary today!  May you always celebrate the small + big anniversaries for the next 100 years together!  Much, much love… Annie
