When couples choose to say their I Dos their way… on their day; beautiful pictures are created. Kathryn and Michael’s Wedding day was a direct reflection of exactly how they envisioned their wedding day. The love they have for each other is beautiful, and being among their friends and family, was just an absolute pleasure to document. Kathryn’s three brothers stood next to her as she exchanged vows with Michael, who’s three sisters stood next to him. Their stunning DIY white and blue decorated alter (made from Kathryn’s Prom dress from years back) served as the perfect backdrop outside, on the most beautiful spring day in May.
When these two opted to have a first look, I couldn’t have more excited. They decided to see each other prior to their ceremony at the lovely Hoosier Grove Barn to calm their nerves, and take some gorgeous pictures. As Kathryn tapped her groom-to-be on the shoulder, he turned and he looked like one of the happiest grooms I have ever seen. As the two exchanged vows, friends and family looked on, and celebrated the night away with the most delicious cupcake sweets, barrels of their favorite craft beer, and epic dancing under the barn’s magical twinkling lights.
I can’t say enough about this wonderful couple and this beautiful wedding. Enjoy some of my favorites!
The definition of a classic bride. Stunning.
While Kathryn got ready with a friend, Michael, his three sisters, and mom were also getting all prepped for the day.
I think these moments are the ones you remember forever.
A very heartfelt First Look moment…
OK… I LOVE all of them!
Before Kathryn became a Pharmacist, she went to Prom in High School. The alter she got married in front of was created from the dress she wore. I LOVE this idea…
Oh, and I forgot to mention, Michael played the drums as Kathryn walked down the aisle.
Sweet ceremony and loving vows were promised…
Officially Mr. and Mrs!
Cocktail hour began after they were married with yard games and cocktails in mason jars galore…
