It’s that time of year. The time of year we highlight the BEST OF ENGAGEMENTS and the BEST OF WEDDINGS, and finally the WORST OF US. I kid, I kid… but, not really. The Wedding Days we have the privilege of photographing would not be nearly as beautiful without wonderful vendors, stunning venues , musicians, and most of all our fabulous couples.
Through out the year we capture all the important moments and the just as important in between moments. In the mix of that, are the outtakes and behind the scenes of us. This year’s highlights included Peter climbing on a 15 foot wobbly ladder for a group shot and a steep cliff for a couple’s shot; and me walking thigh deep into the ocean and getting stung by a Mexican bumble bee complete with a steroid shot and a 10 day supply of antibiotics to get the shot. Of course, we would not do any of this, if we did not have mad love all of our ASP couples.
I hope you enjoy some of the nitty gritty, behind the scenes of our 2015 weddings.
Peter on shirt 2/3 on this gorgeous, hot Florida Wedding Day…
Shooting at Hotel Baker has me all smiles…
Not only does Peter dress impeccably, he will fix and fluff the front of your dress for free ladies.
Whoops… Excuse me you fabulous, gorgeous couple. Carry on kissing.
Peter doing his thing.
This gorgeous couple rocking out their “First Look” while I rock out a maternity dress 8 months pregnant.
I adore moments like these. The laughter, the love, and my L series lens.
Q: How do you get a shot of 100+ people just before going into the reception at Hoosier Grove Barn?
A: You get on top of a ladder. ;)
This picture was taken at the end of the night after Ashely and Michael’s gorgeously romantic, seaside wedding at Pink Shell Beach Resort in Spa in Florida. It takes a special couple for me to travel 8 months pregnant and you can barely tell how much sweat Peter and I have on us;)
We can’t wait for 2016!
