When I was in high school, someone once told me to really enjoy these four years because they will be the best ones of my life. That was the first time in my life, I hoped I was being lied to. Turns out, that teacher was wrong and life was just beginning when I walked across that stage to receive my high school diploma. High school had been great, but I always knew there was so much life to be lived outside narrow lockers, hall passes and cheer leading at Friday night football games. My first year of college, I met my now husband, waitressed for the first time
at a bar my parents thought was a family restaurant, traveled, learned so much about life, and discovered a self identity of who I was and where I was going. Oh, and I went to class, too.
Last weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Courtney for Senior Pictures. I worked with Courtney’s mom when we lived in the suburbs and I can’t say enough sweet words about these two. In a few days, Courtney will be graduating from high school and in the fall, starting college in Minnesota. Courtney is absolutely stunning in all of her pictures and I couldn’t be more excited for her new adventures in Minnesota. I wish you all of life’s best and congratulations on your graduation! Enjoy some of my favorites…
