Last year’s Wedding Season could not have ended more perfectly. Amanda and Keith, were married at the famous, Chicago landmark — The Blackstone Hotel in downtown Chicago mid December. Both Chicagoans, they chose a place to vow their lives together where some of Chicago’s finest history exists. This beautiful hotel was built almost 100 years ago and more than a dozen presidents have stayed there, among other notable figures. The happy couple were married in the late afternoon with friends and family smiling on. As a personalized touch, they were married by one of bridesmaids that introduced them over ten years ago.
I loved that Amanda and Keith wanted to do a First Look and take pictures outside before the Ceremony. She walked down the red carpeted stairs towards her groom awaiting with his back turned. The moment they saw one another was extremely special as the Bridal Party smiled on. We left the hotel, and visited The Field Museum, Lasalle Street Bride (where Keith proposed), and Union Station. We headed back to the hotel and were honored to document their I Do’s. Friends and family greeted the happy couple during Cocktail hour, as delicious cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres were served. Afterwards, the Grand Ballroom opened for dinner, and all celebrated the rest of the night.
Amanda and Keith, thank you for allowing us to document this amazing time in your lives. I adore your love and all the creativity you put into your amazing day! I wish you all the best as you start this new chapter in your lives! XO, Annie

Just when I didn’t think this Wedding could be more perfect, their Chicago Skyline Cake dazzled in the middle of the Ballroom. As gifts for their guest, Amanda and Keith spent months home brewing “Hoppily Ever After” and “Something Borrowed, Something Brewed Coffee Stout” that guest took home at the end of the night. As guests, the bride + groom sent us home with a pair, too;)

I’ll end with this because I think this sums up the perfect night.
